The Education Foundation implemented a bold initiative to insure innovative SMART Board technology be installed in every classroom in New Albany Floyd County Schools. The entire technology suite includes a SMART Board, audio enhancement system, a projector, student “clickers”, a teacher’s tablet computer that is synced to the SMART Board, and document camera. Research has shown a dramatic improvement in student behavior, progress, and test scores when students are actively engaged in learning and can hear.
Over the past few years, the NAFC Education Foundation has purchased thousands of dollars in SMART Board technology for the Math Department at NAHS, for Green Valley Elementary, S. Ellen Jones Elementary, Hazelwood Middle School, and Scribner Middle School. Through partnering with NAFC Schools, every classroom is now equipped with this essential technology!
