Great Classroom Grants

The Great Classroom Grant Application is now open for the 2026–27 school year. All NAFCS educators are eligible to apply for up to $500 in funding for projects that support and enhance the educational and curricular goals established by the Board of Education. Creativity is always encouraged.

For those who receive grant funding during the 2026-27 School Year, the Great Classroom Grant REPORT is due by May 24, 2027. Educators are to report on the impact and outcome of the grant funding received through Great Classroom Grants.

We know the exceptional educators in NAFC schools give all they can to make sure their students succeed. To help them along in their effort, we are proud to offer the opportunity for any educator in the district to apply for up to $500 a year in Great Classroom Project funding. These projects are used to provide additional resources to creative teachers for learning opportunities that enhance the educational and curricular objectives of their classrooms.

In the 2026-26 school year, the foundation funded over $104,000 in Great Classroom Projects. Over $1,100,000 in classroom resources have been provided through Great Classroom Grants since the program began in 2011!
