MISSION
The New Albany Floyd County Education Foundation is an independent fundraising organization providing impactful resources and experiences to the students and teachers of Floyd County public schools.
VISION
The New Albany Floyd County Education Foundation seeks to be the recognized, endowment-driven funding facilitator for the educational achievement of students and teachers, through investing in the future of our schools and the Floyd County community.
Why have a foundation?
Quality education is an investment in our economic future. The NAFC Education Foundation is a charitable organization which is able to do great work for our community through private donations and contributions and receives no tax dollars or state funding. Private support for our nation’s public schools is becoming increasingly important as tax dollar limitations and growing demands are putting a strain on local and state funding capabilities. Schools simply do not have the funding necessary to consistently provide the kind of creative, stimulating learning environment in which all students flourish.
