The New Albany Floyd County Education Foundation is thrilled to present our prestigious selection of graduates from NAHS and FCHS who have come together for a noble cause–raising funds for NAFC teachers and students.

Vicki Hays-Pierce

Vicki worked in the costume shop at FCHS for over 30 years. She began volunteering with the NAFC schools when her own children entered elementary school. Vicki is the proud parent of three FCHS alumni and recently married a fellow FCHS graduate.

Laura McGuirk

Laura was a counselor at New Albany High School for 22 years. Many of her former students credit her for inspiring them to pursue higher education. Both of her children graduated from NAHS.

Pam Snow

Pam is a Global Strategic Account Representative at Iron Mountain Inc. Pam has devoted many years to serving with her church community. Her father was a teacher within NAFCS, and her husband, Glen Snow, was a teacher and the first Athletic Trainer at FCHS.

Al Knable

Al is a dermatologist, serves on the Floyd County Board of Commissioners, and has a political consulting company. He is actively involved with the Salvation Army and Hosparus. Jessica, his wife, and their four children graduated from NAHS.

Nicole Yates

Nicole is the Associate VP of Growth and Community Engagement for Passport Health Plan by Molina Healthcare. She has consulted on local, state, and national campaigns and is on Fund for the Arts, Metro United Way, Dare to Care, and Falls of the Ohio boards.

Gary Banet

Gary is a law partner at Church, Langdon, Lopp & Banet. He served with the Floyd County Little League and currently coaches the HHMS girls’ tennis team with his daughter. Gary and his wife, Angie, have two children attending NAFC schools.

Matthew Wiegman

Matthew founded Senior Source with two of his friends. He generously provides scholarships to deserving New Albany High School seniors annually. Matthew and his wife, Jessica, are expecting a daughter in January.

Laura Gilmore

Laura works with Gilmore Construction. Laura is inspired by her parents' contributions to the Education Foundation and this has led her to continue to give back to this community. Laura and her husband, John Groan, have two children.

The announcement of the top fundraiser will take place before the NA vs. FC boys varsity basketball game on Friday, December 8th at FCHS. Let us come together on this exciting day to celebrate the power of our collective giving and honor those who have gone above and beyond for the future of NAFC.
