The Foundation is proud to provide funding to elementary students for admission and transportation to numerous educational tours. This past year our elementary students were able to experience a wide range of historical and cultural experiences which connect directly to their classroom learning and curriculum.
Kindergarten – Approximately 800 Students – The Ogle Center
First Grade – Approximately 800 Students – Louisville Zoo
Second Grade – Approximately 800 Students – Derby Dinner Playhouse
Third Grade – Approximately 800 Students – Scribner House, Culbertson Mansion, and Town Clock Church
Fourth Grade – Approximately 800 Students – Corydon State and Division Street School
The trips are made possible through funding from the Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County.
