NAFC Alumni Step Up:
Meet the 2025 Legacy Royal Court
Amanda Braden (NAHS 1994), Braydon Hobbs (NAHS 2008), Tony Toran (NAHS 1987), Karen McKinley-Boyd (NAHS 1975), Katie Sutter (FCHS 2004), Matt Uhl (FCHS 1997), Julia Hott (FCHS 2006), Paula Merrill (FCHS 1989)
The New Albany Floyd County Education Foundation is proud to share that eight NAFC graduates have stepped up again to support our students, teachers, and schools through the 4th annual Legacy NAFC Alumni Royal Court.
Each graduate brings a strong commitment to this community and gratitude for the educators who shaped them. Together, they’re raising funds that power programs the regular school budget cannot cover:
- Great Classroom Grants: Up to $500 annually to each educator for innovative classroom projects.
- Mental Health Grants: Support for student and staff well-being.
- New Educator Resources: $100 to help first-year teachers get started.
- Blessings in a Backpack: Weekend meals for Pre-K through 6th grade students.
- Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library: Free monthly books for Floyd County children from birth to age five.
