The New Albany Floyd County Education Foundation is proud to introduce eight outstanding graduates who are competing in a spirited fundraising challenge to support our students, teachers, and schools in the 4th annual Legacy NAFC Royal Court!
Each of these alumni brings a unique story of leadership, community, and gratitude for the educators and school community who shaped them. Together, they represent the heart of our mission: ensuring that every student in our district has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Legacy NAFC is the official alumni initiative of the NAFC Education Foundation. Through your generosity, the Foundation provides vital funding for programs that go beyond the regular school budget, including:
- Great Classroom Grants: Up to $500 annually provided to each educator to implement innovative classroom projects.
- Mental Health Grants: Funding for programs that help students and staff navigate mental health challenges.
- New Educator Resources: $100 for classroom resources to help new teachers get started strong.
- Blessings in a Backpack: Weekend meals for Pre-K through 6th graders who might otherwise go hungry.
- Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library: Free monthly books for Floyd County children ages birth to five, encouraging early literacy.
